Five stars!! I bought a half share of a bed recently from Shurden farms. I worked primarily with Olivia, who is wonderful and went above and beyond for me buying from out of state, including graciously holding it in their freezers for a week until I could come claim it. The meat is delicious. I was specifically looking for grass fed, grain finished meat. This meat is it. In terms of taste, it has the “beefier” taste reminiscent of grass-fed, but not overpowering like it can sometimes be. The grain finishing ensures a wonderful taste and good marbling resulting in super high quality meat. I don’t know how long half a cow will last our family but I’m definitely ordering another when it starts getting low!!! Supporting small farmers and getting delicious local food is always a win in my book.

I’m not really one likes sirloin but I gave my buddy Cliff a shout to see what he had left, went and grabbed a few sirloins and brisket today so had try a steak out tonight! Little gunpowder and Hoover marinade didn’t even need any sauce and was tender! Better get you an order of home raised beef USDA meat right here in Guntown!
